Alright, so you want to know how to make more Techniques and better enhance your Shikai level more powerful then it is with an ability upgrade? Well now you can, here is why. You want to be the most badest mofo in town so you gotta have that enhance uber godly crap power stuff. So here is what you do....
* You require 100 points to give up, per technique you wish to create and train. After you pay and train of over 800 words you can use the technique. That doesn't mean you master it, to master it on a daily basis, use it and connect with it for about 10 times. Otherwise you may train for an extra 200 words to master it. That's 1k. Remember, training techniques can now be done OOC if and only if you are in a battle or stuck doing something really important within a topic.
* Ability Upgrades now cost 150, however, since these are abilities they would require more training. Overall of a 1000 word post to obtain it. You can place forth 500 more words to completely master it as well. That's 1.5k of words. Or you can use the ability IC wise 15 times to master it.
